The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah continues to be committed to improving the quality of life of the people through the Contract Signing Ceremony of the Construction of Aid Houses under the Yayasan Housing Assistance Scheme and the Financial Contribution Presentation Ceremony.

The signing ceremony was for the construction of five aid houses under the Scheme. It took place at the Yayasan Complex, 27th April morning. Signing on behalf of Yayasan was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Awang Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports as Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee as well as Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Development as Acting Managing Director of Yayasan.

Witnessing the contract signing was YANg Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor. Awang Haji Mohammad Isham Bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Acting Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors.  Also held was presentation of donation amounting to BND10,950 to three families affected by natural disasters in the Brunei Muara District. Under the agreement, four houses will be built in the Brunei Muara District and another in the Belait District. The project conducted by Syarikat Impian Reka Bina Sendirian Berhad, is scheduled to begin in May and is expected to be fully completed in October this year.
